CREATING HEALTHY HABITS

Many of us know that there are "best practices" when it comes to our health and wellness. However, how many of us actually remember to implement these into our daily lives? Here are just a few healthy habits we want to challenge you to take on this week.

1. HYDRATE

It is vital for your overall health and well being and will improve your ability to perform physically. Drinking plenty of water can also prevent some common symptoms of dehydration like headaches and constipation.

  • Drink a glass of water with every snack and meal.

  • Keep a bottle of water at your desk and in your car.

2. STAY ACTIVE

Whether you have 15 minutes or 1 hour of your day to dedicate to exercising, it is important to stay active every day. On days where you are not following an exercise routine, take a walk to remain active and promote good health.

3. REST

Neglecting rest can lead to physical and mental health problems, injuries, and loss of productivity.

Sleep is important for your well-being throughout your life. Needs vary from person to person. However, no matter how much sleep you need, getting enough quality shuteye can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.
